Thomas Lacava, M.D. specializes in pediatric primary care and comprehensive environmental medicine. He has served as an Instructor in Pediatrics at the UMASS Medical School from 1982-Present, and his membership and office in professional associations includes the Worcester District Medical Society/Grievance Committee Chairman, Massachusetts Medical Society, American College of Advancement in Medicine, American Academy of Environmental Medicine (Fellowship/Member Board of Directors), Christian Medical Society, American Scientific Affiliation, and Broda Barnes Research Foundation. He is currently licensed to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and has offices in West Boylston, MA.

Jeffrey C. May, founder and principal scientist of May Indoor Air Investigations LLC, specializes in indoor air quality and serves as an adjunct professor at the Department of Work Environment at U Mass Lowell. He has a B.A. in Chemistry from Columbia College and an M.A. in Organic Chemistry from Harvard. His certifications include Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional, Association of Energy Engineers; Certificate in Food Science Technology, MIT; and Infrared Thermography, Level 1, Snell Infrared, Montpelier, VT 2005. An expert in indoor air investigation, Jeffrey has learned his craft from some of the world’s leading authorities. His completed coursework includes Current Understanding and Advances in Mold Assessment, Sampling and Analysis, P&K Laboratory, Dr. Chin Yang, 2004; Advanced Mold Investigation and Sampling Techniques, P&K Laboratory, Dr. Chin Yang, 2004; Pollen and Fungal Spore Identification and Bioaerosol Samplers, Michael Muilenberg, Harvard School of Public Health; and Identification of Fungi in Culture, College of Environment and Forestry, SUNY Syracuse, 1996. He is the author of 4 books on the subject including My House is Killing Me! The Home Guide for Families with Allergies and Asthma, 2001; The Mold Survival Guide: for Your Home and for Your Health, 2004; My Office is Killing Me! The Sick Building Survival Guide, 2006; and Jeff May’s Healthy Home Tips, 2008.

Ahin Handa, Ahin brings unique perspectives from over a decade of design and in-the-field construction experience on specialty medical renovations. His project work includes advanced diagnostic imaging centers and interventional suites for major institution clients such as the Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital Boston, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. In addition to his design work in the US, Ahin runs a small company that concentrates on small healthcare facilities and high-end residential renovation projects and has done projects in London, the UK and New Delhi, India.

G. Robert Evans, DMD, Dr. G. Robert “Bob” Evans graduated from Tufts University in 1978 with a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.). After working a short period of time in Somerville, Massachusetts, and Redwood City, California, he returned to the Boston area, and established West Newton Dental Associates in 1981. After years of enjoying a successful and flourishing clinical practice in West Newton, Dr. Evans, with his wife, Dr. Jean Nordin-Evans, opened their first joint practice, Groton Wellness Dental Spa in April 2004, founded on the principles of holistic dental health. It has expanded into Groton Wellness, incorporating a brand-new Medical Center to further promote total wellness. Dr. Evans has a Fellowship with the Institute for Natural Dentistry, FIND, and Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, FAGD, as well as a long standing membership in the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, IAOMT. Dr. Evans was recently granted a Fellowship award from the American Dental Implant Association – FADIA.

Thea Fournier, CN, LLC, BM, MM, Thea is a certified nutritionist, medical intuitive and kinesiologist, with a private practice in North Andover, Massachusetts. Her successful restoration of her young child’s health in 1975 was the impetus for her research into the field of nutrition. Through experiences in both the US and abroad, she has gained expertise in the areas of clinical nutrition, functional medicine, European biological medicine, homeopathy, color therapy, flower essences, energy medicine, herbology, music education/therapy and special education. For the past 30 years, Thea has uncovered the nutritional and environmental health problems of her clients and has placed them onto the pathways of healing. She uses a common-sense approach to individually guide and teach clients how to detox, nourish, re-balance and restore health. Thea is a member of the Orthomolecular Health Medicine Society and an associate member of the Academy of Environmental Medicine.
